Brady Barrows (b.1950 in Boulder, Colorado) was raised in Texas by his grandparents until age sixteen when he moved to California to live with his father and step-mother, also writers. He graduated from University High School, Los Angeles, California in 1968 and attended Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California. In 1971 he moved to New Mexico and lived in the Jemez Mountains and became a hippie meeting his wife Betty whom he married. A son, Jeremy, came along in 1973 which by this time the family became Jehovahs Witnesses. Brady was a nationally and NM State registered EMT for nearly ten years working two years professionally at a rural clinic in Cuba, New Mexico in the ER, inpatient clinic, hospital and ambulance. For another eight years he served as a volunteer fireman/EMT for the Lybrook, NM Volunteer Fire Department as well as the in service EMT NM State Certified EMT Instructor. He taught two EMT classes for the Lybrook Volunteer Fire Department. For fourteen and a half years he worked professionally in the oil and gas industry.
Brady was diagnosed with rosacea in his thirties in New Mexico. After living in New Mexico for twenty three years, in 1994, he joined his wife as a full-time minister of Jehovahs Witnesses and volunteered to do construction work for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, Patterson Educational Center, Patterson, New York for six months. Both decided to stay on the East Coast for ten years, moving to Great Barrington, Massachusetts where they both resided. In 2004 the author and his wife moved to an undisclosed spot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on one of the Sandwich Islands. Aloha! For five and half years the writer worked part time for a non profit organization as an employee with the designated title, Direct Service Worker III, personally assisting a mentally challenged adult.
The Rosacea Diet is the writers first book, written in 1999, when he also began learning html and becoming a webmaster. Over the years he has progressed steadily to become a professional webmaster using Adobe CS4 Web Premium and has clients in Hawaii and California.
The writer also volunteers to serve as a regular pioneer as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1994 as well as one of the elders in the congregation and has been appointed to serve in various other assignments with the RBC and the HLC which are appointments through the branch office of Jehovah's Witnesses.
The writer founded the Rosacea Research and Development Institute, the first non profit organization for rosaceans by rosacean volunteers to find a cure for rosacea and served as the associate editor of the Journal of the RRDi.
