My experience with DMSO 10% Fluconazole has convinced me that this prescription drug does indeed heal rosacea. Whether this cures rosacea remains to be seen but after 141 days of trying this I came to a conclusion. My current Compounding Pharmacist (CP) commented that those who he knew who are taking this prescription drug for rosacea have had improvement after three bottles of use. The time it takes to use up three bottles varies by individual use. I switched to Michael Roberge, R.Ph., who is listed on my cp.html.
The controversy surrounding this drug is something you should consider before ever even thinking about considering it. Dr Geoffrey Nase is very emphatic that rosaceans should not use it (see this url) (another). The problem is that the side effects of this prescription drug are stinging and skin peeling. Now consider what are the side effects of ANY prescription drug? What are the side effects of IPL, Laser, ETS, Accutane or Botox? When you accept a prescription drug and decide to take it you also accept the side effects and any long term effects from it.
This is a long diary. I began using the DMSO 1% Fluconazole for fifty one days and then switched to the DMSO 10% Fluconazole which is better, more powerful, and causes less stinging, but increases the skin peeling. If I had it all over to do, I would have only used the 10% since it works better. I repeat myself so get used to it. The reason I do this is that telling you once just doesn't cut it. Dave Fleming tells me something once and I ignore it but once in a while he REPEATS suggestions and finally I get it. And I do owe Dave something for all the suggestions he has given me personally and for giving me personal attention when I needed it but what I can give Dave now is a big 'thank you' even though at times I feel Dave is attacking me and I am constantly defending myself from Dave's constant questioning of my motives. Anyway, I am sure you don't want to hear about what Dave and I discuss privately nor want to hear any of this in public. The reason I bring this up at all is that I would not have known about DMSO 10% Fluconazole if it were not for Dave and his shouting this 'cure' to the world at yahoo groups.
For the first nine days I applied DMSO 1 % Fluconzole (with red dye which I would never have done had I known but alas I was not paying attention to Dave Fleming) TWICE A DAY (since that was what was written on the bottle as directions). On Day Eleven I began only using once a day (with the exception of only a few days). You can see a photo of my rosacea on Day 17 which shows the best photo I can give you considering I have a disposable camera and scan it. Send me a digital camera and I will take some great photos.
From Day Twenty Five on I began waiting some days (even weeks) between application of the prescription in order to let my skin heal.
On Day Fifty Two I began using the DMSO 10% Fluconazole and applied it twice and waited till Day Sixty One (eight days) to apply it twice on my rosacea. I applied it twice also on Day Sixty Three. I waited six days and applied it once on Day Sixty Nine.
From Day Sixty Nine to Day Seventy Seven (seven days) I applied one application. During this period I also stopped drinking coffee or alcohol. On Day Seventy Eight and Nine I applied the prescription once each day, waited four days and applied it once again on Day Eighty Four. After waiting twelve days my rosacea got worse! So I began using the DMSO 10 % Fluconazole again on Day Ninety Seven. I almost lost faith in this prescription but on Day 103 my faith is renewed and I do believe in this prescription that it heals rosacea. I began using the DMSO 10% Fluconazole at least once every day since Day Ninety Seven.
However a friend suggested I use the IsaDermix Skin Renewal System and I began using this on Day One Hundred Two. You can find out more about these non prescription products at this url >
http://bradybarrows.isagenix.com/prod_isadermix.dhtml
Initially only after a few days, I think the Phase 4 (Vitamin C Collagen Serum) and Phase 5 (A.M. Hydrating Cream - SPF 30) seems to help the most. I suggest you not ignore my suggestion to use a moisturizing cream after the DMSO 10 % Fluconazole does its work (skin peeling) and apply it over the skin peeling. This will really make a difference and don't do what I did for one hundred days. Another product you may consider is Alpha-Lipoic-Acid-Vitamin C Ester - DMAE Cream by Reviva Labs which can be purchased at vitaminshoppes.com. You may find some other product to use that would give you similar results. However, if you decide to try the IsaDermix products and purchase them at the above url you will indeed be helping me since I am an IsaGenix associate of these products and up front with you that I do indeed make a profit if you decide to purchase. There are so many rosaceans who get up tight with me making a profit but if you have an issue I suggest you quit reading this or anything on my web site because I don't want to offend you any further and I sure don't want to have defend myself about this.
During the entire diary I have been using my Rosacea Diet and since day seventy four I have not had any coffee. I may revise my Rosacea Diet saying not to drink coffee for thirty days! Also I have not had any alcohol since day seventy seven (in my Rosacea Diet I also recommend no alcohol for thirty days, so I don't have to change that). I have been using sunblock when going outside. After a little over thirty days I began drinking two cups of coffee a day and a shot of scotch on the weekends (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) and seem to be able tolerate these amounts so far. These factors you should consider.
This prescription drug for rosacea is a big controversy. Most doctors will not know about it nor will prescribe it since it is never been prescribed for rosacea until relatively recently. You will have to get a prescription for this from a physician and it is prepared by a compounding pharmacist which may be difficult to find. I did find a physician who was willing to let me try it. Geoffrey Nase, Ph.D., personally gave me advice to not use DMSO on my face. Nevertheless, I am trying it since I am willing to see what it does for my rosacea. I have repeated over and over that it is legal and ethical to obtain a prescription for DMSO 10% Fluconazole from a physician and prepared by a compounding pharmacist.
I heard about this over a year ago from Dave Fleming who posted on a yahoo group about it. It caused such a stir because Dave claimed it 'cured' rosacea and at least two yahoo groups banned Dave from posting any further discussion on it. Dave and I have exchanged emails for the past year and he and I are on not on the best of terms. I won't get into what issues Dave has with me since most of it would bore most rosaceans who don't like to read about controversies between individuals and I don't blame them. But I do believe that Dave is sincere about this prescription drug being a 'cure' for rosacea but his approach to people on the internet about this drug is wanting. He has generously offered me much advice and when I ignore or not want to take his advice he gets emotional with me. That approach is what I call wanting. My approach is simply that I am trying this and reporting my results in a diary. You can read this or ignore it. Your choice. Whether this 'cures' rosacea remains to be seen. Dave says it can take many months to 'cure' rosacea with this drug. I am willing to give it many months to see if it does anything to heal rosacea. The pdf you are reading now tells you how many days I have been trying it. As noted previously I waited days (once up to twelve days) between applications so you can figure this may take many months. However after Day 97 I have been using it every day with excellent results. Time however proves whether this is working to completely heal rosacea or cure it.
As a result of the skin peeling I felt I needed to not apply the drug for at least a week or more (or several days) to allow my skin to heal before applying another dose of the drug. The DMSO 10% Fluconazole is very powerful stuff. And you should work with your physician if you attempt using it. However, since day Ninety Seven I have been using it every day since I began using a Vitamin C cream and a hydrating cream (Phase 4 & 5 of the IsaDermix Skin Renewal System). The Vitamin C cream and the hydrating cream applied after the work of the DMSO Diflucan the night before can really make a difference with the skin peeling and keeps my skin comfortable and appears to heal my skin.
The first fifty days I used DMSO 1 % Fluconazole which had a red dye in it due to the fact that the fluconazole was prepared with the red dye. Rosaceans need red dye like a whole in their head. On the fifty first day I began using the much more powerful DMSO 10% Fluconazole which is by the way ten times stronger. But the important thing is that it is prepared with CLEAR fluconazole without the red dye. You are the only one who can demand that the prescription be prepared with white powder fluconazole instead of the one with red dye.
Please note: As a public service I have added Dave's Directions for DMSO 1% Diflucan at my web site at this url http://rosaceans.com/html/diflucandirections.html - I did not consult these directions when I began this prescription and did not post these directions on my site until two weeks into using this prescription but you may want to check out what Dave says about using this prescription since this is a pioneer effort in healing rosacea and you might like to know about it. If you choose to read Dave's Directions they may save you some discomfort if you decide to try it.
Many have asked me why I put up with Dave's manner of presentation of this 'cure.' As I said before, I believe Dave is sincere but lacks tact. The history of how Dave discovered this 'cure' was posted in a few messages on his yahoo group (now private) and said he had wanted some topical Diflucan for nail fungus and discovered that it was no longer available. He discovered that compounding pharmacists could make it. After convincing his physician to give him a prescription he later decided to try it on his rosacea and discovered over time that it 'cured' his rosacea. He later reported it to the world over the internet in yahoo groups. I picked it up and posted it on my site but did not try it until over a year later. My wife needed some hormones and got a prescription from a clinic that required a CP to prepare the hormones. I asked the CP about this radical new treatment for rosacea and she said it was benign so I decided to try it. The CP gave me the name of a physician who agreed to let me try it.
The bottle on the prescription from my doctor says, 'Apply Twice Daily' which I did for the first nine days and occasionally on other days. While there is no apparent lasting harm in this, the side effects of applying this medication is stinging and skin peeling (which if you apply a mosturizer cream should really help this side effect). It is not necessary to apply this medication twice a day and there may be good reason to wait several days after applying it ONCE before applying it again. That will give time for the skin to heal and the medication to work. Of course, you may ask your doctor for advice. A better course of wisdom may be to apply this prescription once and wait days before applying it again to see the results for yourself. But since this is a pioneer effort you may decide what is best for your rosacea.
After over fifty days into using the DMSO 1% Fluconozale I asked my doctor for the DMSO 10% Fluconozale which is obviously stronger and should be applied once and wait several days before applying it again. If you follow my diary you will discover the results of using this. The DMSO 1% Fluconozale I obtained from my CP (two 15 ML bottles) contained a pink clear liquid which is the result of red dye contained in the Diflucan (Fluconozale). When ordering the DMSO 10% Fluconozale I made sure that no red dye was in the prescription. To obtain clear Fluconozale one must insist that the prescription be made from pure white powder Fluconozale from the physician and compounding pharmacist. It is quite obvious that rosaceans don't need any red dye on their face which the DMSO will absorb deep into the skin! You have the right to ask for no red dye in the prescription.
Pioneers have always gone where no man has gone before. This diary is to help rosaceans in this pioneer effort to heal rosacea.
The Diary of a Rosacean Using DMSO Diflucan
Day One April 19, 2004
I just got my prescription for DMSO 1% Diflucan. I am a bit nervous but I can always call my doctor (My doctor who gave me the prescription for DMSO 1% Fluconazole is Clif Arrington, M.D., Honalo Business Center, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 808 322-9400 later he gave me a prescription for the stronger 10% Fluconazole) or CP and ask questions or even quit at any time. Try to be calm and just go with the flow, which is in a bottle containing a pink clear fluid. The pink is symbolic of course. Obtained Prescription for DMSO 1 % Diflucan from Shelly Williams, Pharmacist & Compounding Specialist, Malama Compounding Pharmacy, 81-6629 Mamalahoa Hwy., Kealakeua, HI 96750, Telephone (808) 324-6888 FAX 808 324-7888. Used 'wick' (small brush) to apply on rosacea spots at 4:15 PM. Stinging lasted for 20 to 30 minutes and it really stings! This prescription is not for the weak of heart. Pansy guinea pigs stay home and smear the Metrogel and down the tetracyline! Drove home. When I arrived home two hours later my wife noticed that the rosacea spots had reduced in redness. I did too. Applied second application of the prescription just before going to bed and experienced the same stinging! See my photo.
Day Two April 20
Applied third application of this prescription after shaving with sulphur soap and experienced more stinging. All that morning the redness of the rosacea spots on my face were more noticeable and pronounced. My wife said it looked bad. I agreed. If you are going on a date you better put lots of make up on! Applied the fourth application just before bed with more stinging which lasted about ten to fifteen minutes.
Day Three April 21
I woke up and noticed that some skin from the rosacea spots was peeling. Applied the fifth application and again the sting is still there but not as long. Maybe ten minutes? I was a bit red on the rosacea spots for a while. Later in the day the redness seemed to calm down. At the end of the day there was skin still peeling from the rosacea. I used a wash cloth and got the dead skin off. This skin peeling is a drag but hey, if it works it can't be any worse than the rosacea, right? Time will tell. Applied the sixth application and went to bed. The other thing I noticed is that both times today after application of the treatment the stinging was reduced to about five to ten minutes.
Day Four April 22
Woke up this morning and the redness was reduced somewhat but still there. I noticed my skin is continuing to peel a layer of skin from the rosacea spots. The advantage of skin peeling is that you can tell everyone you have leprosy rather than rosacea? Just a thought. No, not a good idea. The stinging with the seventh application was about five minutes and then it subsides and turns red where the rosacea is. I must admit that the rosacea seems to be getting better and I can see that two months of this is not for the timid or the half-hearted. Knowing what I know about rosaceans this will not be a popular prescription, but only for the courageous. Most rosaceans will stick with the staus quo prescription regime even if it is wanting. By day four the weak will quit. This is only for the hearty. But I am in this for the long haul. This either will prove to me that it works or not! And you can read all about it. Applied the eighth application before going to bed and the stinging lasted about five minutes. The rosacea again turned red.
Dave Five April 23
Woke up this morning and checked the mirror and the redness of the rosacea spots are diminished! My wife said she noticed the red was less on my face than yesterday. I had two small pimples which both hurt and popped them. I know this is disgusting but this is a diary for rosaceans and it comes with the turf. If you think rosacea is all flowery then you are on the wrong site and should read poetry. My skin continues to peel. My wife thinks she should try this for her wrinkles and I said you have got to be kidding! This is no picnic. I applied the prescription to my rosacea and it stung for about five minutes. Redness increased. Then in about a couple of hours the redness is reduced. My wife says that it appears to be clearing my rosacea. I do to. Dave has been emailing me and says the pink in the prescription needs to be removed by obtaining just white powder Diflucan. Alas, I paid cash for the prescription but I assured Dave I would try to get 'clear' next time. Dave is concerned with red dye in the Diflucan is not a good idea. So don't forget to ask your CP for clear white Diflucan powder rather than the pink. My face is continuing to peel but looks clearer from this prescription. The tenth application of the prescription brought the usual sting but it lasted only about five minutes.
Day Six April 24
This morning my wife and I both agree that this prescription is working and my face is getting clearer. My face continues to peel and a wash rag does remove the dead skin. It is an interesting result. After application of the prescription it stings for about five minutes then turns the rosacea more red. Eleventh application. The redness stays for a while and then reduces somewhat. The nightime applciation didn't burn as much this time. The stinging was remarkably noticeable. Maybe a minute or two and then it was fine. And I definitely can assure you that it was less!
Day Seven April 25
This morning the redness is considerably reduced. This is working. After application this morning the stinging still lasted about five minutes. After about a half hour the redness does calm down a bit. The application just before going to bed lasted longer than five minutes. Doesn't that seem unusual? Who can figure this one out? Rosacea spots get more red when the prescription is applied to the rosacea. However it does seem that the rosacea spots are getting smaller than yesterday. By the way, I am still on my Rosacea Diet just in case you wondered.
Day Eight April 26
This morning my face is about the same. Some rosacea still visible. I didn't apply the prescription until noon. The rosacea spots are redder for about a half hour. The stinging lasts about five minutes. I am having trouble with a new rosacea spot now just below the left cheek near the mouth. Two small spots are bleeding from where I pulled the peeling skin. I guess I will have to be more careful when cleaning the peeling skin and all this is in the same area just below the left cheek toward the mouth. Wouldn't it be nice if I could give you digital photos of my progress each day? But alas, I sold my digital camera and have none. The rest of my face does look better in the afternoon and evening. More skin peeling is evident. The nightime application stung for about five minutes.
Day Nine April 27
My face is really clearing up. There is just the one rosacea spot under my left cheek and the other rosacea spots are clearing up. Amazing. The morning application again stings for five minutes. My skin peeled during the day. By the way my wife took a photo of me today to mark this date. I have to develope and scan the photo and will post it here whenever I can get to doing this. I will also post photos hopefully every ten days. The photo is just below.
Day Ten April 28
After applying the prescription this morning the redness seems to be lasting longer this morning. The stinging did last about five minutes. I am letting my face heal. The skin peeling is still evident. I am not going to apply the precription at the end of the day and just let my face rest. The redness from the rosacea is somewhat gone but still there at bedtime. I think one application is enough today. My face does feel a bit raw and tender from all this.
Day Eleven April 29
The redness from the rosacea is calmed down and my face looks healed. I can still see some lines from the rosacea but it looks so much better! The skin continues to peel with little flakes. My face feels a lot better today and not as tender and raw. Feels like new. I applied the prescription just before going to be and the stinging lasted about five minutes. This application is the only one for the day since I think for now that is best.
Day Twelve April 30
My face is looking better today than before and I actually think that at this pace in two months with one application a day or every other day or once a week that my rosacea will clear. I actually am beginning to believe that this prescription works. I think that the initial instruction to apply twice a day is too much and will discuss this with my doctor and CP. The application just before bed had about five minutes, possibly just four minutes of stinging.
Day Thirteen May 1
This morning the redness of my rosacea continues to be less. I am convinced that one application a day is best for now. Dave Fleming has been emailing me saying the instructions written on my prescription bottle saying 'Apply Light Application to Areas of Rosacea Twice a Day' should read something different. He has told me to let my skin heal rather than have applications twice a day. I think he is right. Since April 28 I have only applied one application of the prescription a day. I have things to discuss with my doctor and CP concerning all this. So for nine days I applied this prescription twice a day and for three days I only applied it once a day. Actually my face looks pretty good. The skin peeling was less today than before and easily washed off with soap and water. Dave is concerned that my method of removing peeled skin should be different. He thinks I am too aggressive and has another approach. He encourages the use of a non-prescription cream and you can read about it at his yahoo group site. Dave is also concerned about the fact that my doctor through the CP prescribed this twice a day, and says, "these directions could be more elaborate, so that all rosaceans could try this treatment with the greatest convenience possible." Dave's 'elaborate' directions on the use of this prescription can be read on my web site (rosaceans.com) as a public service. Applied the prescription just before bed. The stinging may have lasted four minutes. Popped a couple of pimples. Can't help it. Compusive obsessive disorder.
Day Fourteen May 2
My face is definitely getting better. The redness from the rosacea is healing and I am pleased with the results. I have a couple of pimples that are healing which are a bit nasty to look at, but overall my face looks pretty good. However, I have decided to apply the prescription to my few rosacea red spots this morning after I washed my face. It only stung for a few (three or four) minutes. The redness intensifies when you apply the prescription in the morning. I just had to find out what would happen. I have confirmed that it does make my rosacea redder. But it appears to reduce the pimples and increase healing.
Day Fifteen May 3
This morning my face peeled a lot! My face is red and the rosacea spots are more pronounced. But still I can see that this prescription is working, healing the rosacea! There are spots healing! I still have three pimples giving me trouble and they are painful. I didn't put the prescription on this morning since I want my skin to heal from the two applications from yesterday. I drove to Kealakeua today and spoke with my CP since I needed a refill for the small bottle of prescription she gave me is about out! I asked her about the DMSO 10% Fluconazole prescription. The CP confirmed that if my skin is feeling raw or burned to only apply it once a day or not at all until I feel ready to apply it again. She confirmed that it looks like the prescription is beginning to heal my rosacea. So that is good news! And I learned that my CP has rosacea too! I asked her if she has tried this prescription on herself? She said no. I think she is waiting for this red guinea pig to show some results. The sacrifices I make for rosacea are to be noted and that is why this diary is written for all rosaceans. I applied the prescription just before bed. The stinging lasted maybe a couple of minutes.
Day Sixteen May 4
More skin peeling this morning. The redness is reduced this morning. Two of the three pimples are healing while the third one still is red but no longer sore any more. I hate discussing individual pimples. After I shower and wash my face the redness appears more pronounced again. It appears that this prescription seems to be pulling whatever is causing the redness of the rosacea to the surface and then the skin peels. One application a day I am handling and the stinging is less now, just a few minutes. The nightime application lasted about three minutes tonight. I am applying light applications of the prescription on the rosacea. It gets redder upon applying it.
Day Seventeen May 5
This morning the pimples are just about healed. I am so happy to see them going away. My face today seems redder after I wash off the dead skin peels. During the day the redness of the rosacea spots are more pronounced. The sun is a bit of an irritation to my face so I tried to stay in the shade as much as possible. I try to wear a hat too! I should make a photo of me in my hat. The nightime application of the prescription stung for about three minutes. See my photo on May 5 but now hat. Here I am below. If you click on the photo don't get scared when I pop up all over your screen!
Day Eighteen May 6
When I wake up in the morning the redness from the rosacea is really toned down. The skin peeling continues and both my wife and I agree that this appears to be working to heal the rosacea. Put bedtime application and the stinging is still about three minutes to four.
Day Nineteen May 7
More skin peeling which I wash off gently with cold water. I put 50 SPF sunblock on today because I have to work in the sun and I think maybe the sun has been triggering my rosacea or I am burning from the sun. I do live in a very sunny state. I also wear a hat with a brim. After I finished working and took a shower I noticed the redness was reduced somewhat. I think the sun has been a big trigger factor for me. My face doesn't burn as much either. Duh. I guess I will wear sunblock more. I hate putting it on, but I guess the consequences of not putting on sunblock is very obvious. The nightime application stinging lasted about three or four minutes.
Day Twenty May 8
I didn't realize I could peel this much skin! The skin peeling is obviously working. The redness is so much gone in the morning when I wake up. My wife and I both agree that this prescription is working. I continue to have high hopes that this is indeed healing my rosacea. One application a day is what I tolerate best. I applied sunblock today. I am going to try to put it on when I go outdoors from now on. Ugh. I hate having to put it on but all the 'authorities' say rosaceans should put on sunblock. Ok, uncle. I give in. I bought Ocean Potion Oil Free Sport Extreme Sunblock Broad Spectrum SPF 50, UVA1, UVA2, UVB Protection with Parsol® 1789 Protects Against Premature Aging, Water & Sweat Resistant. www.option.com I like the feel of it on my face. It seems to help too. I even put it on my ears since they tend to get the sun and turn just as red as my face! During the day the sunblock definitely helps soothe the skin and reduces my redness from the rosacea. I put the prescription on just before bed and the stinging lasted three or four minutes. I woke up at 12:45 AM which technically is May 9 but I am including it on this day's diary. The skin has already peeled! I applied a second application of the prescription since I want to find out what happens and more stinging for about three minutes. Remember, the bottle says 'Apply Twice a Day' so I am only following doctor's orders. When I wake up I want to see what it does to my face.
Day Twenty-One May 9
Woke up this morning and the skin peeling was incredible. I had my wife take a photo shot of my face with the peeling. The rosacea is reduced as you will see whenever I get the photo developed, scanned, and placed below... Anyway, my face doesn't feel raw or burnt and feels fine. I washed my face and got all the skin peels off, put on my sunblock and you can see the difference with the photo to the right [forthcoming]. The sunblock is really toning down the redness. I put on the prescription at bedtime and the stinging is still three or four minutes.
Day Twenty Two May 10
The redness has reduced more today. The rosacea is healing up. The skin peeling is still happening, not as much as yesterday morning and easily washes off with water. I am beginning to believe this prescription works. I stayed indoors today working on the computer and phone so I was not in the sun. My face is doing much better and the red glow has reduced dramatically. I am convinced that the skin peeling has exposed fresh new skin and the sun has been doing a number on my rosacea, triggering it and causing a dramatic red glow. From now on I am using sunblock everytime I go outdoors. The nightime stinging of the application lasted four minutes.
Day Twenty Three May 11
This morning the skin peeling is about the same as usual. It is truly amazing how much skin I can peel. This obviously has some beneficial healing for rosacea since I do look better every day. The sunblock has definitely helped today to tone the red down. The nightime application of the prescription stung about four minutes. I put some on a pimple that developed on my right cheek near my nose. Ugh.
Day Twenty Four May 12
Skin peeling as usual. I still am amazed at how much skin I can peel. Applied the sunblock. The redness is toned down today. At bedtime I applied a light application to the rosacea and extra on the pimple I told you about yesterday. The stinging lasted about four mintues.
Day Twenty Five May 13
Usual skin peeling. The prescription seems to reduce the pimple I mentioned yesterday. I have decided to stop applying the medication for a week to see what happens to my face.
Day Twenty Six May 14
This morning the rosacea is about the same as yesterday. Very little skin peeling, just a few flakes which washed off easily. I put sunblock on since I am working today outdoors. As I said yesterday, this is day two with no application of the prescription to let my face heal for a week to notice the difference. The redness is still pronounced with the rosacea but it does seem to be reduced somewhat.
Day Twenty Seven May 15
This morning there were only just a few tiny skin peels that easily washed off with water and sulphur soap. The rosacea redness is calming down but still noticeable. I am giving Dave Fleming some credit here by telling you he suggested letting my face heal for 28 days and he has some interesting information about why '28 days' if you want to ask him. I told him I would not put on the prescription for a week to see if there is any difference. My face does seem to be healing up rather nicely today. Maybe stoping the prescription and allowing time for the healing of the skin isn't such a bad idea after all. Thanks Dave!
Day Twenty Eight May 16
I can't believe that my skin is still peeling! Not a whole lot but nevertheless, it is still peeling. I have developed a couple of pimples which are painful. The rosacea has really calmed down and the redness is reduced. This is the fourth day I have not applied the prescription. I think I will put some on that nasty pimple since it hurts so much. Here is another photo of me.
Day Twenty Nine May 17
This is weird, more skin peeling and this is the now the fifth day I have NOT applied the prescription! Rosacea is continuing to be less and less. The pimple is going away.
Day Thirty May 18
There is even more skin peeling but not as much as yesterday! The redness has gone down a bit more. I decided to put the prescription on just before bed. It stung for abo | |
